BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County Library System is teaming up again with the School District of Palm Beach County to offer free summer lunches to kids and teens 18 and younger — no strings attached.

The Free Summer Lunch Program runs Tuesday, June 2 through Friday, July 24 at all Palm Beach County Library System locations. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Beyond lunch, snacks are also available at every branch. At the Belle Glade, Clarence E. Anthony, Loula V. York, and Tequesta branches, snacks are served Monday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. All other library locations will serve snacks Monday through Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Fridays from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Families should note that there will be no lunch or snack service on June 18-19 or July 2-3, in observance of Juneteenth and Independence Day. All food must be consumed inside the library — nothing can be taken out of the building.

The program is designed to make sure children across Palm Beach County don’t go without nutritious meals just because school is out. Library officials are encouraging families to stop by their local branch not only for the free food, but to check out the library’s full lineup of summer programs, activities, and resources.
