
DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A West Palm Beach motorcyclist died Friday morning after a crash at the intersection of Boynton Beach Boulevard and El Clair Ranch Road, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office in a statement to BocaNewsNow.com.
Albert Garcia, 28, was riding a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja eastbound on Boynton Beach Boulevard at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred just after 7 a.m. A second driver, Glenn Robert Swift, 39, of Boynton Beach, was traveling westbound on Boynton Beach Boulevard and had stopped at El Clair Ranch Road intending to turn left heading south. As Swift began his turn, Garcia applied the brakes but was unable to stop in time, and the motorcycle struck the passenger side of Swift’s 2016 Kia Forte. Swift was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.
Garcia, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle and came to rest a short distance southwest of the point of impact. He was transported to Delray Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 7:35 a.m.
No charges have been filed. Garcia lived in West Palm Beach.
