A passenger on a golf cart was struck and killed in Palm Beach County.

LAKE WORTH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A passenger riding in a golf cart died four days after a collision at Military Trail and Canal Drive in Lake Worth, according to information given to BocaNewsNow.com by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. The crash took place on June 10, 2026, at approximately 10:29 a.m. The passenger was pronounced dead on June 14 at 10:45 a.m.

According to investigators, a Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Canal Drive and making a left turn onto northbound Military Trail when it collided with a Club Car golf cart that was exiting the parking lot at 7540 Military Trail. The golf cart driver, identified as Ana Degrossi of Lake Worth, was attempting to cross Military Trail and travel westbound on Canal Drive at the time of the crash.

As both vehicles entered the median of Military Trail, the front passenger corner of the Camry struck the front driver side of the golf cart. The impact ejected the golf cart passenger, identified as Guillermo Lopez, from the vehicle. Both Lopez and Degrossi were transported by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue to Delray Medical Center. Lopez, who was not wearing any safety equipment, sustained fatal injuries. Degrossi suffered minor injuries. The Camry driver, Jonathan Fegan of Lake Worth, was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.
