Continuing the annual tradition, Palm Beach County is set to host a major even on July 4th in the park. Here are the details:

The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department, in ​partnership with the West Boca Community Council, presents the annual 4th of July Fireworks Show and Concert, hosted by Commissioner Maria Sachs.

Featuring the Viva Band, celebrating America’s finest rock bands. Salute to our Veterans, nature center meet & greet amusements, concessions on site, lawn chairs and blankets welcome. View more event details on the event map.

How much are tickets?
The event is FREE!
What is happening at the event?
The event will be hosted by Commissioner Maria Sachs. Kids Fun Zone and activation
areas for the whole family. Live music begins at 5:30pm with The Viva Band playing a
tribute to the Stars and Stripes of America’s finest Rock music and bands followed by
the fireworks display. We will have food and beverage concessions on-site.
Will the fireworks be broadcast online?
No, this firework show is in-person only and will not be broadcast live online.
Will Sunset Lake be open?
Sunset Lake and the boat ramp to access the lake will be closed to the public at 3:00pm
in preparation for the fireworks.
Where can I park?
Access to Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park common areas will be open
during normal park operating times for patrons who arrive early. Sunset Cove
Amphitheater overflow parking lot gates will open at 5:30 pm. Parking is free of charge.
No shuttles will be provided to the amphitheater.
Where are the trash receptacles?
Please do your part to reduce your footprint and keep the park clean by removing all
trash you bring into the park with you as you leave. Garbage and recycling receptacles
are also available throughout the amphitheater.
Can I bring a tent or canopy?
Use of tents and canopies is not permitted inside the amphitheater gates.
Will there be seating provided?
We encourage patrons to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Seating may be
found in surrounding picnic areas, if available.
Will there be any food vendors present?
Food and beverage vendors will be available for your convenience. There will be vegan
options on site.
Can I bring a barbeque grill?
Barbeque grills have been provided in the park; additional grills are not permitted.
Patrons are encouraged to bring picnic baskets.
Can I bring alcohol to the event?
Alcohol will be available onsite through the event concessionaire. No outside alcoholic
beverages are permitted.
Can I bring my pet?
Service animals are allowed on Amphitheater grounds. Service animals must be
restrained at all times at a distance not greater than six feet in length from their handler.
Can I bring fireworks?
Firecrackers, torpedoes, rockets, or other fireworks or explosives containing flammable
materials are not permitted on park property.
Can I fly a Drone at the event?
Drones are not permitted at this event.
What if it rains?
This event is “rain or shine” event. In the event of inclement weather, staff may make a
decision onsite to initiate the fireworks display earlier or later to adjust to intermittent
weather. Notifications will be sent out via Sunset Cove Amphitheater pages.
