The scene above was documented at 6:50 this morning near Palmetto Park Road and Dixie Highway. The water is knee deep. The National Weather Service issued this flood advisory which continues through the morning. We’ve added the extended forecast.

- WHERE… A portion of southeast Florida, including the following counties, Broward and Palm Beach.

- IMPACTS… Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

- At 624 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
