Boca’s on-demand shuttle service is expanding.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Getting to more of Boca Raton’s beaches is easier this summer with the City of Boca Raton’s expanded BocaConnect on-demand shuttle service pilot program.

The pilot program runs through September 30, 2026, and pushes the shuttle’s service area south of the Boca Raton Inlet. That means residents and visitors now have an easier way to reach a bigger stretch of the City’s barrier-island beaches, along with nearby residential communities, the Waterstone Resort & Marina, and area restaurants.

Rides stay free for trips that start and end within the original red service area. But if you’re heading between the red zone and the newly expanded blue and green zones, expect to pay $2 per rider, plus $1 for each additional passenger, up to $5 per one-way trip. One catch: trips must start or end in the red zone — BocaConnect won’t shuttle riders between two points that are both in the blue or green zones.

BocaConnect operates on demand through the Ride Circuit app, giving riders a low-cost way to get around Boca Raton without needing a car or worrying about beach parking. More information on the summer pilot program, including the updated service-area map, is available at myboca.us/2460/BocaConnect—Circuit-Shuttle.
