BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Palm Beach County HIV Elimination Services (HIVES) will represent the county through four nationally selected presentations at the 2026 National Ryan White Conference on HIV Care & Treatment, running Aug. 4-7 in Washington, D.C.
County officials say the presentations reflect Palm Beach County’s ongoing leadership in building collaborative, data-driven and person-centered approaches to HIV care. The county’s participation will wrap up at the conference’s Closing Plenary, where Palm Beach County will be spotlighted among jurisdictions advancing the federal Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative.
Being chosen for four presentations recognizes work spanning HIV care, housing stability, financial oversight, data-driven outreach and coordinated services, officials said. The sessions include a data-matching partnership that helps reconnect people who’ve fallen out of HIV care with treatment; a look at strengthening program income tracking and fiscal accountability under the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program; a housing model aimed at building long-term self-sufficiency for people with HIV; and the Closing Plenary itself, where Dr. Casey L. Messer will represent Palm Beach County alongside other spotlight jurisdictions discussing how innovation translates into measurable community impact.
Palm Beach County HIV Elimination Services, part of the county’s Community Services Department, leads local efforts to prevent new HIV infections and improve care access, working with health care providers and community partners on programs tied to the federal Ending the HIV Epidemic goals.
