Scott Otto Hirsch Of Boca Raton Faced Federal Case Before His Palm Beach County Arrest.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Scott Otto Hirsch, the resident of The Oaks who allegedly pushed an elderly veteran with Parkinson’s in Publix near Clint Moore Road and U.S. 441, knocking him to the ground, is seemingly the same Scott Otto Hirsch who paid nearly $200,000 to settle a case brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Court records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com also show that Hirsch was cited in 2015 In Palm Beach County for improperly housing a dog during an investigation into an aggressive animal complaint. He entered a guilty plea and paid a fine.
Hirsch, who lists an address in The Oaks of Boca Raton as his home address, owns an $80,000 condo in Kings Point. He is not listed as an owner of property in The Oaks, but told police he lives on Lake Azure Way in the upscale gated community at the time of his arrest. His relationship to the property owner in The Oaks is unclear. The unit he owns in Kings Point is in the Monaco section of the senior living community.
As we reported on Thursday, Hirsch allegedly parked his SUV in a lane of traffic in the Publix shopping center, leading the elderly veteran to ask him to move his vehicle. Hirsch, according to a police report, parked his SUV, found the man, and pushed him. The elderly military veteran who told police he suffers from Parkinson’s disease and has issues with mobility fell to the ground. Hirsch is charged with battery on a senior over age 65 — that’s a felony in Florida. He’s free on bond but ordered to have no contact with the elderly man.
