BY: NATE COLTON | Political Correspondent | BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Two days remain to request a vote-by-mail or absentee ballot for Florida’s primary elections with the deadline set for August 6th. Early voting began today in 10 counties, including Miami-Dade, and begins August 8th in Palm Beach and Broward County.
Palm Beach County voters can view their sample ballot, polling location, and request a mail-in ballot here. Voters in Broward County can do the same here, as can voters in Miami-Dade County here.
Early voting in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties continues until August 16th with election day set for August 18th. Early voting begins at 7:00 AM in Palm Beach and 10:00 AM in Broward, ending at 7:00 PM in both counties. Miami-Dade early voting times vary by day. Palm Beach County voters can make an appointment to vote early here.
All eligible Floridians can register to vote here. The deadline to register as a Democrat or Republican to vote in the primary elections was July 20th. If you are not registered with a major party but are registered with a third-party or are unaffiliated, you will still be given a primary ballot with nonpartisan races. The nationwide general election is set for November 3rd.
