BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A teenager was critically injured overnight when he allegedly slammed his car into a tree in the area of Jog Road and Woodfield Drive in Boca Raton.
The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. and only involved the car and the tree. Boca Raton Police and Boca Raton Fire Rescue were on the scene within minutes and immediately started treating the driver who is believed to be around 16 years old.
The teen was rushed to Delray Medical Center with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
It’s unclear what led to the crash. Police are now investigating the incident. Jog and Woodfield were largely cleared within an hour of the incident.
