BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Things got a little hot at the Hampton Inn at 1455 West Yamato Road in Boca Raton Saturday night.
While we don’t know what was going inside of the rooms, we do know what was going on by the pool. That’s where someone allegedly set a cushion on fire, then left. We believe it was a cushion from pool furniture. We don’t know why it was set on fire. But we do know that there was enough smoke and apparently flames for Boca Raton Fire Rescue to be called to the scene.
Firefighters, according to information obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, were there within minutes and learned from hotel employees that a cushion by the pool was burning, but was ultimately extinguished. No one was injured. And the alleged cushion-fire-starter was nowhere to be found.
