Crash Victim Ends Up In Back Seat Of SUV That Hit Him And Dies, According To Police.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A motorcyclist was killed Friday afternoon on 441 just north of Glades Road in Boca Raton, and the impact was violent enough that the rider was thrown off his bike and came to rest inside the back seat of the SUV that hit him, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
PBSO tells BocaNewsNow.com that the crash happened at 2:58 p.m. at EF Johns Parkway and State Road 7. EF Johns Parkway is the name of the new road that leads from Lotus Edge — the new G.L. Homes community — to SR7/U.S. 441.
A 2026 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 60-year-old Alan Stuart Greif of Boca Raton was traveling west on EF Johns Parkway and trying to turn left. Investigators say Greif improperly crossed State Road 7 and pulled into the path of a 2001 Yamaha YZF-R1 that was headed north in the center lane. Greif, according to police, lives in Lotus Edge.
The motorcyclist had no room to stop. The front of the bike slammed into the left rear door of the Equinox, and the rider — who was wearing a helmet — was ejected, ending up in the SUV’s back seat. He was pronounced dead minutes later. Greif, who was wearing a seatbelt, was not injured.
The motorcyclist’s name has not been released. No charges have been filed. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
