No Swim Advisory Near The Boca Resort Lifted

The Boca Resort Is Now Known As “The Boca Raton.”

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Florida Department of Health has lifted a no-swim and general water advisory for part of Boca Raton. Here is the official announcement made Wednesday afternoon:

>> The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County (DOH-Palm Beach) is lifting the advisory for Camino Real connected to Lake Boca, just Northwest of the Boca Raton Resort.

Recent coordinated laboratory testing with the City of Boca Raton and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection indicates the water quality at Lake Boca shows an acceptable level of bacteria for the public to resume water-related activities. 

The original advisory was issued on Friday, September 18, 2026, due to a wastewater spill.
