UPDATE #2 at 10:53 a.m. — PBSO now says it does not know why a case number indicating a “shooting” in Seven Bridges was generated late Saturday night, or why that information was blasted out to the public by an alert system used by Palm Beach County. The agency confirms that NO SHOOTING took place. As we previously reported, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue also says it did not respond to a shooting in the area.
UPDATE #1 at 10:50 a.m. — Palm Beach County Fire Rescue confirms to BocaNewsNow.com that it did NOT respond to a shooting call in the area Saturday night. We are awaiting more information from PBSO regarding the case number that the agency generated.
DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reports early Sunday that deputies responded to a shooting in the West Delray Beach gated community of Seven Bridges late Saturday night.
We are still awaiting details but have learned that deputies were dispatched to Balenciaga Court at 11:38 p.m. Notably, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue was apparently not dispatched to the scene, suggesting that no one was injured or there was no need for medical transport.
The police dispatch was assigned a case number but further details were not immediately available early Sunday. We do expect an update from PBSO later in the day.
