FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1:45 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON
- WHAT: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
- WHERE: Southeastern Palm Beach County in southeastern Florida.
- WHEN: Until 1:45 PM EDT.
- IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details
- At 11:49 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Highland Beach, Kings Point, Whisper Walk, Hamptons At Boca Raton, Dunes Road, Boca Del Mar, Boca Pointe, Mission Bay, Village Of Golf, Gulf Stream, Morikami Park, Boca West, Villages Of Oriole, FAU South Campus, Boca Raton Equestrian and Sandalfoot Cove.
