BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A 28-year-old Boca Raton vet tech told police she had “two tequilas” on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, then refused both roadside sobriety exercises and a breath test, according to her arrest report obtained by BocaNewsNow.com. Jordan Marie Lynch is charged with DUI and refusal to submit to testing, both misdemeanors, following a traffic stop shortly after 2 a.m. on Oct. 30.

An officer running traffic enforcement near 200 W. Palmetto Park Road says a black Mazda CX-5 moved into the far-left lane to head north on NW 2nd Avenue, rolled past the stop line on a red light and stopped inside the intersection. When the light changed, the Mazda continued north. The officer followed and reported watching it swerve out of its lane several times before pulling it over at 2000 NW 2nd Ave. Once stopped, the driver put the car in park, shifted into reverse, then put it back in park.

Lynch, the only person in the car, smelled strongly of alcohol and had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred, slow speech, the officer wrote. She seemed confused after handing over her license and repeatedly offered unrelated paperwork when asked for her registration and insurance.

She swayed after getting out of the car, police say, and refused the exercises twice. Officers took her to the Boca Raton Police Department, where she refused a breath test, heard Florida’s implied consent warning and refused again. Lynch is due at the South County Courthouse in Delray Beach on Nov. 30 at 8:30 a.m.
