BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — A quick public service message to our readers: Zello is an app. It does not magically alter the internal electronics of your iPhone or Android phone, enabling a walkie-talkie service. If your cell phone service is down, if you have no WiFi, you have no Zello. It is not a magical communication service that will connect you with other people who have no cell service or WiFi.
It will be an inoperable app on your phone.
We have received emails and messages suggesting that thousands of local people believe this app will turn your phone into a walkie-talkie from the 70s or 80s.
It won’t. Be smart. Consider devising a legitimate communication plan if you have no internet or cellular service.
