BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested Morris Samit and charged him with homicide in the death of a woman at his residence.

Police responded Monday afternoon to a shooting the 6800 block of Fairway Lakes Drive which is in the Aberdeen Country Club section of West Boynton. Upon arrival, according to PBSO, deputies located a female deceased from an apparent gunshot wound and a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The male was transported to a local hospital where he is expected to survive.
Further investigation determined for unknown reasons the male shot the female. Once the male is released from the hospital he will face homicide charges for the death of the female.
