Official Deaths Now Include 45 Year Old Man, But Not 38 Year Old PBSO Deputy
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (3 p.m. ET Sunday, April 5, 2020) — There are now at least 998 cases of COVID-19 in Palm Beach County and the death count has risen to at least 49. Among the dead: a 45 year old man whose death is JUST NOW being reported by health officials, even though he died on March 25th. The list does not include Saturday’s death of a 39 year old PBSO Deputy. It is unclear why the official list is so delayed and underreported.
Florida health officials are not explaining what methodology is resulting in what is increasingly considered to be a grossly inaccurate list.
Of the 998 infected in Palm Beach County, 509 are men, 480 are women. The Health Department is routinely releasing breakdowns that don’t add up to the actual total. In this case, 9 people are apparently unaccounted for.
Locally, 184 people in Boca Raton are confirmed COVID-19 positive, 151 in Boynton Beach, 149 in Delray Beach.
