UPDATE 1:06 p.m.: The scene has cleared according to Boca Raton PD.

UPDATE: 12:54 p.m.: From Boca Raton PD: “One subject is in custody and two other subjects that fled on foot are believed to have been picked up by a vehicle.”

UPDATE: 12:50 p.m.: Boynton Beach Police confirm to BocaNewsNow.com that the incident at St. Andrews and Glades Road is a car crash involving suspects from a shooting in Boynton Beach. Here’s the official statement issued by Boynton Police spokesperson Stephanie Slater:

“Boynton Beach Police are on scene of a crash in Boca Raton and currently searching for the occupants of the vehicle. The occupants are believed to be suspects in a shooting on Northwest 11th Ave., in the City of Boynton Beach yesterday at approximately 12:49 p.m. A woman was treated at the hospital for injuries and later released.”

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — There is police activity in the area of Glades Road and St. Andrews as of 11:22 a.m. Sunday, December 6th, 2020.

A helicopter is hovering overhead and a K-9 units are on the scene.

The police department is asking the public to stay away from the area.
