BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A popular Italian restaurant at Boca Raton Town Center Mall was given a completely clean bill of health from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation within the last few days.
Carma Cucina Moderna had no violations logged during the inspection on March 17th.
The inspection was required after inspectors found four problems during an inspection on January 3rd, listed as one high priority, one intermedia, and two basic violations.
Per BocaNewsNow.com, those violations are listed verbatim as written by the inspector:
High Priority – Raw animal food stored over/not properly separated from ready-to-eat food. At fliptop cooler, raw eggs stored behind raw onions. Eggs moved **Corrected On-Site**
Intermediate – Manager or person in charge lacking proof of food manager certification.
Basic – In-use knife/knives stored in cracks between pieces of equipment. At cookline, knives stored between flip top cooler and prep table. Knives removed, washed and sanitized **Corrected On-Site**
Basic – Food stored on floor. At walk in freezer, boxes of pizza dough stored on the floor. Items moved to shelving **Corrected On-Site**
None of the violations led to the restaurant being closed. The March 17th mandatory follow-up yielded no violations at all.
