BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A body, decomposing and infested with insects, was found early Monday in unincorporated Boynton Beach. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating. Investigators issued the following statement around 8:20 a.m.

PBSO Statement On Decomposing Body In Boynton Beach.

Deputies responded to 10000 block of 90th Street South, unincorporated Boynton Beach, in regards to the discovery of a deceased body. The unidentified individual was located on the south side of the canal in the advanced stages of decomposition, severe animal and insect activity was present.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division arrived on scene to investigate further.  The ME investigator responded and the remains were transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office where an autopsy will be performed to determine more.
