“Potential Tropical Cyclone Four” Still Heading Towards Texas.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A tropical wave is expected to form east of Florida over the next few days, then continue to trek westbound. It is much too early to know if the developing system will create an issue for Florida as the region enters what is known as “peak” hurricane season.
The new wave comes as “potential tropical cyclone 4” continues a northward push towards Texas and Mexico. The National Hurricane Center covers it all in its Saturday evening advisory:

Active Systems: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Potential Tropical Cyclone Four, located over the western Gulf of Mexico near the northeastern coast of Mexico.

- Formation chance through 5 days…low…20 percent.
- Eastern Tropical Atlantic: A tropical wave located near the west coast of Africa is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions are expected to be marginally conducive for gradual development of this system while it moves westward to west-northwestward at 15 to 20 mph across the eastern and central tropical Atlantic during the early to middle part of next week. * Formation chance through 48 hours…low…near 0 percent.
