BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Boca Raton resident Ingrid Noon, 51, was struck and killed by a car early Friday morning while she was riding a motorcycle. The crash happened in the area of SW 18th Street and Boca Rio Road.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells BocaNewsNow.com that Noon was riding her Kawasaki Vulcan “S” at 2:11 a.m. when she was struck by Richard Dorfman of Chula Vista Crescent in Boca Raton. Dorfman was driving a 2020 Tesla Model 3.

“Dorfman was traveling behind Noon,” said PBSO. “Dorfman failed to observe Noon and impacted (the rear of her motorcycle). The impact caused Noon to be thrown off the motorcycle and into the windshield of the Tesla.”

Noon was transported to Delray Medical Center where she later died of her injuries sustained in the crash. Noon lived in the 7900 block of Sedawie Drive in Boca Raton.
