DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — What is going on in Kings Point? Once the aspirational haven of senior living for so many, it’s rapidly turning into the bad senior ‘hood of South Florida. And to make the situation even more confusing, many of those Kings Point people constantly filling the jail aren’t even senior citizens.
BocaNewsNow.com has counted at least eight arrests of Kings Point residents since May. That makes Seven Bridges — another Delray Beach community frequently in the news for its federal felon arrests — look almost normal. If normal is another way to describe “The Upside Down” in Stranger Things.
The latest Kings Point arrest: Ryan Narron of Burgundy I. He was arrested on Sunday by Lantana Police. Narron, 34, is charged with DUI after he refused to submit to a breath or blood alcohol test following a traffic stop at Lantana Road and I-95. He was also driving on a suspended license, according to tickets reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com. We note that Mr. Narron was sentenced to 36 months in jail for armed robbery back in 2019.
Narron joins many of South Florida’s finest living in Kings Point. Among them, sex offenders, alleged drunk drivers, alleged drug users, alleged batterers, a man who allegedly shot at someone for walking their dog on a golf course, and much more. Read all of our Kings Point coverage here.
Incidentally, new BocaNewsNow.com sponsor — Realtor Paul Saperstein — who specializes in senior communities, tells us that the market remains hot for homes in Kings Point.
