DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Two road projects will lead to the closure of Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach starting tonight. Motorists are urged to seek detours and pay attention to congestion in the area.

Construction will close the popular roadway at 150 East Atlantic tonight starting at 11:59 p.m. The closure will continue until 7 a.m. It is called a “full road closure,” which means no traffic will pass. Motorists will detoured north and south of Atlantic.

Then, on Tuesday night and Wednesday night, Atlantic will close in the area of SE 4th Street which is in the area of the iPic Theater. This will also be a “full road closure” and will occur between 11:59 p.m. Tuesday night and 7 a.m. Wednesday, then again at 11:59 p.m. Wednesday through 7 a.m. Thursday.

The Florida Department of Transportation will have signs in the area directing traffic.
