BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — It’s always nice to see area businesses and professionals helping those who need a little help, and noted area law firm Brinkley Morgan is doing just that.
To help students in need prepare for the start of a new academic year, the law firm of Brinkley Morgan recently donated a wide variety of school supplies to ChildNet, the Community-Based Care lead child welfare agency in Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Attorneys and staff at Brinkley Morgan’s Fort Lauderdale location and new Boca Raton office participated in the law firm’s back-to-school drive, which collected thousands of school supplies including notebooks, paper, pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners, crayons, markers, calculators, glue, index cards, folders, binders, dictionaries and thesauruses, rulers, new shoes and socks, and countless other tools children need to succeed academically.
“We recognize that there are many children in Broward and Palm Beach counties who wouldn’t be prepared for the new school year if it weren’t for ChildNet,” said Brinkley Morgan Managing Partner Phil Morgan. “We hope our donation will help make a difference in their lives, and we encourage others in the community to help as they can.”
Brinkley Morgan has been committed to serving the South Florida community since its inception in 1975. The back-to-school drive was an initiative of Brinkley Morgan Cares, the firm’s charitable campaign that supports a number of local non-profits throughout the year.
