BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Investigators with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office spending Thanksgiving afternoon trying to determine who was found dead, floating in a lake near the Ashley Lake apartments in West Boynton Beach.

PBSO tells BocaNewsNow.com that the body was found around noon by a resident who found the body in the lake. It is unclear if the body is male or female, the age, or how long the body may have been in the water.

“Once the body is removed from the water,” said a PBSO Spokesperson, “the Medical Examiner will examine and later conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.”
