It was not immediately clear what crash led the arrest of Genesis Gray. Traffic Homicide investigations in Florida traditionally take a year.

Gray, 21, of the 900 block of NW 9th Court in Boca Raton is officially charged with “homicide, negligent manslaughter with a vehicle, killing of a human being or unborn child with a vehicle,” and “hit and run, fail to stop or remain at a crash involving death.”

Gray was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail around 7:40 p.m. on Thursday. His first appearance in front of a judge is expected later Friday. We will update once we receive more information from the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts and the Boca Raton Police Department which is the arresting agency.
