Boca Rudeton For Memorial Day Weekend Shows Rude People And Their Dogs, And Bad Parking, In South Palm Beach County.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — We’ve seen quite a few dogs in places where they shouldn’t be, like Publix, CVS, Trader Joe’s, Walmart, and more. But we’ve never received a photo of a dog in a Boca Raton movie theater, until now.
Our tipster says the dog you see above was photographed at the Cinemark in Boca Raton on Airport Road. The tipster ponders whether the dog wanted to see an advanced showing of the animal-friendly “Little Mermaid.” We ponder why anyone would bring a dog to a movie theater, or why the movie theater would permit the dog inside. The dog also appears to be unleashed. Before we go any further this Memorial Day weekend: people with dog inside Cinemark: you are unequivocally the winner of our Boca Rudeton™ award for this holiday reporting period. Congrats. You win two tickets to the upcoming film: “I’m more important than anyone else because I live in Boca Raton and I have a dog.”

Other nominees this weekend: the woman who felt it necessary to treat her dog like a baby and bring it in a stroller to the Publix at Clint Moore and U.S. 441. The supermarket dogs are notable: It’s a violation of federal law to bring a dog that isn’t a verifiable service dog (not a fake emotional support animal) into a supermarket or restaurant. It’s a violation of Florida law to lie about your dog’s training status. We asked Publix corporate for comment on why laws aren’t being enforced. So far, no response.

Another nominee: The person who apparently couldn’t park straight — not even a little bit — at the Whole Foods on Glades Road, just east of I-95. To all of our nominees: you are officially inducted into the Boca Rudeton museum of rudeness. Congrats!
We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send us your submissions using the form, below. Boca Rudeton™ is a trademark of MetroDesk Media, LLC.
