Named New Schools Chief For Broward County.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Peter Licata, a long time administrator in the Palm Beach County School District, was just named Superintendent of Schools for Broward County.
Licata has served as regional superintendent for the southern part of Palm Beach County for years, often acting as the first point of senior administrative contact for parents in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Boynton Beach.
More than 30 candidates nationwide sought the position, with the Broward County School District narrowing the field to three candidates earlier this month. Licata was official named to the $350,000 a year job on Thursday.
