BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton woman is facing a battery charge after she allegedly attacked her boyfriend. The alleged attack came after Emily Kelleher and the man had a conversation about her being unfaithful in the past. The conversation happened in the evening. The two went to sleep. Then were aggressive towards each other in the morning.

The boyfriend, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office police report, punched out the taillight on Kelleher’s vehicle. She asked for money to have it fixed. That led the boyfriend to take money out of a tin and throw it at Emily’s nose.

Emily, according to the report, responded by grabbing her boyfriend’s neck and pulling him across the driveway. That led to a neck injury which police documented on the scene. PBSO deputies arrested Kelleher and charged her with battery. She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on June 12th and released on June 15th after posting $1000 bond.

The boyfriend was not charged, according to a police report. Police did not document any injuries on Kelleher that were caused by the boyfriend.
