The Boynton Beach Police Department provided this information to BOCANEWSNOW.com:
“The Boynton Beach Police Department is pleased to announce a significant breakthrough in the investigation of the tragic incident that occurred during a sweet 16 birthday party on June 18th, at 1200 Miner Road. After extensive efforts and a long investigation, detectives successfully identified the individual responsible for taking the life of a 17-year-old.
Thanks to the assistance of the brave and crucial witnesses, who came forward and cooperated with our detectives, vital information was provided, ultimately leading to the identification of the suspect. The cooperation of the community in such cases is invaluable, and we extend our deepest appreciation to those who courageously provided information that aided in the resolution of this case.
We are pleased to announce that an arrest has been made in connection with this tragic murder. The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Kaleb Turkustani, was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals yesterday, August 15th, in Richmond Texas. We would like to commend the U.S. Marshals for their swift and efficient action in assisting us in bringing the suspect to justice.

Turkustani had not been booked into the Palm Beach County Jail as of 2 p.m. Wednesday, just after Boynton Beach Police shared the arrest information.
