BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A critical crash on I-95 south of Boca Raton is leading to huge traffic delays mid-day Saturday.
BocaNewsNow.com has learned a tractor trailer overturned and caught on fire in the area of Atlantic Boulevard in North Broward. Three southbound lanes are closed. Express lanes do seem to be moving, but slowly. It was not immediately clear how long the traffic issues would remain.
The incident was first reported around 12:40 p.m. Injuries were not immediately reported. It was unclear how many vehicles were involved in the crash.
U.S. 441 may be an effective detour for motorists traveling south from Palm Beach County while the incident is resolved by police and fire officials.
