BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The northbound express lanes on I-95 are closed from north Broward County through Glades Road in Boca Raton. The cause: a critical crash.

It was not immediately clear how many cars are involved or the extent of injuries. Traffic is backed up into north Broward County. The delays are expected to continue through the morning rush.

The non-express lanes are overall slow but flowing. The express lanes are completely closed. Just like a similar crash on Thursday, the best detour is U.S. 441 northbound to Linton or further north, then re-entering I-95 after the crash scene.
