Barry Strain, according to police, couldn’t get through the gate at 530 Hibiscus Street in West Palm Beach on Monday afternoon. It turns out he was trying to exit through the entrance and the gate would not rise.

Again, the vehicle was stuck at the gate and the driver showed great difficulty in exiting. The vehicle then backed up and attempted to leave the garage by going through the entrance gate, traveling in the wrong direction. The witness advised the driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was in actual physical control.
The driver was unable to state where he was coming from. He stated he was heading home. The driver stated he did not consume an alcoholic beverages. Multiple empty beer cans, which were still cold to the touch from recent use, were located inside the vehicle. A small alcohol bottle (RumChata, 13.75 percent alcohol by volume) was located inside the driver’s pocket.”
The driver was later identified as Barry Train of the 200 block of SE 5th Street in Delray Beach. Police say his blood alcohol content at the time testing was .296 and .298.
