BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) (UPDATED AT 5 PM) — A Florida statewide Amber Alert is in effect for several children believed to be kidnapped. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement activated the Amber Alert just before 4 p.m. Monday.
UPDATE FROM PBSO AT 5 PM: “At 11:49 am, today, September 11, 2023, a physical altercation occurred between the homeowner who lives in the 3400 block of W. San Salvador Street, Lake Worth and the suspect, Santos Diaz Escobar, 4/11/2002, resulting in the armed suspect forcing the female victim, Marjorie Maradiaga, DOB: 7/18/2004 and two infants, Cristhian and 2 months and Ariel Ruiz Maradiaga 15 months into an older gray Lexus sedan vehicle, tag # 2JZ-JACH. Their whereabouts are unknown.”

According to the alert, Cristina Ariel Ruiz Maradiago and Ariana Jasmine Maradiaga may have been snatched by “compani adult” Marjorie Maradiago who is 19-years-old. The kids and Marjorie may also be in the company of the suspect Santos Escobar who is 21 years old.
FDLE says the kids may be in a 2004 gray Lexus with Florida tag YG73144. The vehicle is “dark gray, has a temporary tag, a spoiler on the trunk, and after market taillights that appear clear white instead of red.”
The public is bein told “not to approach” but to contact law enforcement at 911 or 1-888-FL-MISSING. They were last seen in the area of the 3400 block of West San Salvador Street in Lake Worth.
