BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Doc-In-A-Box medical provider “MedExpress” in West Boca Raton is closing. The location closes today, November 2nd, The announcement was made a day on Wednesday.
MedExpress has been located at 19090 State Road 7 for years. That’s the intersection of U.S. 441 and Yamato Road — and right next to CVS. Many patients found it convenient to see a medical provider in one location and walk just yards to obtain prescriptions. That convenience is now over.
In an email, Vice President of Operations for MedExpress, Evelyn Carter, did not specify why the decision was made to close the location. Patients are encouraged to use the next-closest location which is 7593 Boynton Beach Blvd. in Boynton Beach — quite a distance away.

We note the media section of the MedExpress website has not been updated since early February. MedExpress is owned by a subsidiary of United Healthcare. It was not immediately clear if other South Florida MedExpress locations also face closure.
