Homeowner Jailed On Federal Charges In 2019.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A resident of million dollar home community “The Oaks of Boca Raton” spent part of Thanksgiving morning in the Palm Beach County Jail following his arrest by Boynton Beach Police.
According to the Palm Beach County Jail, Bryan Dorsainvil, 27, was taken into custody and charged with “resisting an officer without violence.” It was not immediately clear what led to the police interaction. The affidavit of probable cause continues to be processed mid-day Thanksgiving day.
The homeowner of the home in The Oaks, Ralph Dornsainvil, is no stranger to the criminal justice system. The United States Department of Justice tells BocaNewsNow.com that he was sentenced to federal prison for tax refund fraud. The house is located in the 9300 block of Grand Estates Way.
“On May 15, 2019, Ralph Dorsainvil, 63, of Boca Raton, Florida, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay joint and several restitution of $335,466.72 to the IRS,” said the DOJ.
Bryan Dorsainvil was booked into jail around 1:48 Thursday morning and released several hours later on his own recognizance. A court date is pending.
