PARKING BADLY: Take A Look At Horrible Parking Jobs In Boca Raton, Delray Beach

Bad Parker Boca Raton

It’s Boca Rudeton For Sunday. How Are These People Allowed To Drive?

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — There sure are some bad parkers out there, and thanks to our readers, three have been nominated for our Boca Rudeton: Parking Edition award for this week. These are people who seem to park illegally, badly, and often times both. It’s unclear why they park the way they do, but fortunately, we have their license plate numbers so we can warn our law-abiding readers to avoid these people.

This Sonata with Florida tag 70CHAQ is parked illegally at Publix in West Boca Raton. Why?

We start with the bad parker at the Publix at the Reserve Shops in West Boca Raton (Clint Moore and U.S. 441). Perhaps the driver has a reading problem, but it seems the huge yellow letters on the ground that spell “FIRE LANE,” combined with the red and white “NO PARKING” sign, would be enough to send the message that parking in that area is no bueno.

No, we don’t understand why the driver of this White Mercedes is parked like this in a largely empty parking lot on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach.

Our next nominee is the driver of this Mercedes at Galaxy Furniture on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach. We don’t know why the driver felt it necessary to park so haphazardly in a nearly empty parking lot, but it’s enough for a reader to submit it for a Boca Rudeton nomination. And we couldn’t agree more. If you see this Mercedes with Florida plate 76BVEI, you may want to stay away. It seems they have a serious issue with depth perception and spatial ability.

New Yorkers driving in South Florida are very special people. So special, they apparently think they can park in a handicapped space even if they have nothing showing that they are permitted to do so. This was the scene at an area Wawa.

And then there’s the guy who apparently parked in a handicapped space, illegally, at an area Wawa. Our tipster claimed that when confronted, the driver didn’t seem to care that he was taking the space from someone who could need it. The New York tag, , says it all. God love New Yorkers driving their potentially illegally registered vehicles in South Florida.

So who is the winner this week? It’s none other than the first photo in today’s article. The white Sonata parked in the fire lane at the Publix near U.S. 441 and Clint Moore Road. It’s unclear why this person can’t read what’s on the sign and what’s on the ground, but it’s not for us to judge one’s education. It is, however, for us to bestow our “Boca Rudeton” award to the driver. As our readers know, we don’t give prizes. But if we did, it would be a translation app so no matter what language this person speaks — or thinks — an the app could tell them that parking where it says “NO PARKING” is not something they want to do.

We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your submissions to us using the menu buttons above. Share your thoughts about these drivers in our comment section, below. Boca Rudeton™ is a trademark of MetroDesk Media, LLC. Bad parkers is a trademark of South Palm Beach County.

  1. The second car that is parked at a diagonal could have a handicap tag in the mirror. Also if they have a walker in the back, it may be hard to get it out with the bumper since they parked head on and may have no ability to manuveur with their handicap situation,. If one has seen the difficulty a handicapped person has in getting their own walker which is heavy out of the trunk because they are alone, one may not realize how hard it is. Just saying. Then you ask why drive if you are handicapped and why park it that way? Well, a few intrepid souls may still try to have a regular life, However, if they are not handicapped, bring in the tow truck.

    1. With all due respect to handicapped individuals and that have the capacity to drive an automobile, it is illegal to back into a public parking space in Palm Beach County for all drivers. My brother is a direct recipient of such violation, though rarely enforced.
