DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Marijuana is still illegal in the State of Florida. That’s the reminder sent to Delray Beach resident Robert Teel, 18, courtesy of the Delray Beach Police Department.

While the arrest report continues to be processed, BocaNewsNow.com has learned through jail records that Teel was booked into lockup around 2 a.m. Wednesday and charged with “marijuana possession (of less than) 20 grams of cannabis,” “possess with intent to sell drugs and/or a level two controlled substance,” “drug equipment possession and/or use,” and “resisting an officer without violence.”

Bond was set at $3,000 for the possession charges, but bond was not set for the distribution charge. The arrest was made by Delray Beach Police. The specifics of the arrest will be released once the affidavit of probable cause is processed by the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts.

Teel lists the 2000 block of Spring Harbor Drive in Delray Beach as his residential address. Robert Teel has had no other interaction with the Palm Beach County court system, according to records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com.
