A homeowner in the 6400 Block of Las Flores Drive says he was painting in the back of his home when he heard a loud noise coming from the front. He went inside and found two black men fleeing the residence through a shattered front glass door. He told police that the men took a brown jewelry box and several pieces of jewelry, totaling nearly $5,000.
