CSI:Boca investigates Burglary

News

A homeowner in the 500 block of NE 35th Street was sleeping when she told police she heard noises outside her home and called 911. While on the phone with dispatchers, the the homeowner incredibly realized that someone was — at that moment — trying to open the bedroom door which was bolted shut. Officers searched the perimeter of the home and noticed the patio screen door had been cut and a window in the back of the house had been opened.
Police say the suspect fled the scene through the front door, taking a silver bracelet from a guest room. The perp left a black short sleeve tee shirt.
CSI:Boca is investigating.
