Police Investigate Stolen Illuminated Street Sign Worth Thousands

News

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Detectives are looking for something that anyone recently driving A1A in Boca has seen. The illuminated street sign that says “A1A.”
According to police, someone stole the sign during the last week or so of October. The sign was hanging at 4000 N. Ocean Blvd. which is at the intersection of Spanish River. It is unclear how anyone got the sign off of the extremely high mounting bracket, or how they were able to pull it off without being seen on a relatively busy stretch of road.
We know the street sign is valued at $2200, but — no pun intended — it’s unclear what the “street value” would be.
