BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Santa Claus is planning to enjoy some rest and relaxation at Boca’s Town Center Mall before the busy season really gets underway. A major holiday event is set for Friday, November 11th, at 5:30p.
Here’s the official rundown from Town Center and Simon Property Group (NYSE:SPG).
Santa Claus will arrive at Town Center at Boca Raton to usher in a magical holiday season! Everyone’s favorite jolly red fellow will lead a musical and interactive Candy Cane Parade that will circle the mall, stopping along the way to feature performances from the Boca Raton Community High School Band and BRAVO Academy dancers and singers. Santa and his winter wonderland friends will be handing out musical instruments to encourage family participation.
The Boca Raton Police and Fire Rescue will join Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, the Chick-fil-A Cow, the Original Penguin, Auntie Anne’s Twisty the Pretzel and the Santa Lolla Dolls plus by juggling stiltwalkers, unicyclists and other performers for the colorful community pageant.
Once inside, Santa will light the Arrigo FIAT holiday tree in front of Pottery Barn and invite shoppers to join him for complimentary hot cocoa courtesy of Crate & Barrel. Photos with Santa will be available at 6:30 p.m. and will run through Dec. 24.
Santa’s arrival, sponsored by Arrigo FIAT, marks a spectacular season of shopping and special events. This year, Town Center at Boca Raton has joined forces with the American Red Cross who is encouraging families to send heartfelt messages of thanks to service members, their relatives and veterans. Through the Holiday Mail for Heroes program, kids can participate in card-making activities on Dec 10 at Santa’s Breakfast and Simon mall personnel will take care of the mailing. The mall will also feature the Oakes Spectacular Train Ride, weekend entertainment and digital interactive promotions to win prizes and a $10,000 shopping spree (text prize148 to 74666).
