Copper Theft From Boca Raton Construction Site

News

Copper WireBOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — It is the hot thing to steal and sell right now — copper wire. Thefts continue throughout South Florida, and right here in Boca. According to police, someone cut into a construction site storage closet at 2001 Spanish River Blvd. — just across the street from Lynn University —  and took 5 rolls of copper wire valued at $1480. Brazen thieves have stolen spools of copper wire from construction sites throughout the area, and even from highway lights. No suspects in this case…yet.
