BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — A Boca Raton family that lost pretty much everything following a propane tank explosion in their home on Christmas Eve is in need of help. Friends are asking local media, us included, to share the following with our readers. We are happy to assist:
As we first reported, the propane tank exploded in the garage of 818 NW 7th Street in Boca and displaced a family of five and their two dogs. Two children were inside of the home at the time of the fire, but no one was hurt.
The family had no insurance, and is now in need of temporary housing as well as essentials.
After seeing how much the family lost during this holiday season, especially without insurance, a close friend set up the Harrison Family Benefit Donation Fund where monetary donations can be made through any Wells Fargo Bank Branch. Donations of gift cards, bedding, appliances and home items can be made at the office of At Home Infusion located at 4722 NW 2nd Ave, Suite C110 in Boca Raton on Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm.
