Boca Raton Fire Rescue On Scene Of Early Morning Fire

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Boca Raton Fire Rescue responded around 4:30 this morning to a structure fire at 1284 NW 4th Street. The 9-1-1 caller said there flames in a bedroom.
Firefighters arriving on the scene reported heavy smoke and intense flames reaching above the roof. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire which they later determined to be isolated to just the one bedroom.
The entire home suffered smoke and heat damage, according to Boca Raton Fire Rescue, and the damage is estimate around $100,000. The cause is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal. The Red Cross is now helping the homeowner and her family.
