BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Perhaps placing your $8800 watch in your locker at LA Fitness isn’t the greatest idea. Proof: Boca Raton Police are investigating the theft of the watch and $175 cash from a locker at the LA Fitness at 4950 Technology Way.
The victim told police that an unknown suspect broke off his lock — from locker 135 — and took what was found inside. It happened during peak time, between 6:50 and 7:30 on a weeknight.
CSI:Boca processed the scene. LA Fitness says there is no video surveillance.
