THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH FLORIDA.
.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT
THUNDERSTORMS: ALTHOUGH THE CLOUD COVER WILL LIMIT THE STRONG
THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTH FLORIDA, A FEW STORMS
COULD STILL BECOME STRONG WITH FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES, GUSTY
WINDS, SMALL HAIL AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS.
TORNADOES: A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MAY BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
AN ISOLATED TORNADO THROUGH THIS EVENING. WATERSPOUTS ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE ACROSS THE GULF AND ATLANTIC WATERS, INCLUDING BISCAYNE
BAY AND LAKE OKEECHOBEE.
WIND: THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
WIND GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.
HAIL: THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
SMALL HAIL.
RIP CURRENTS: LIGHT TO MODERATE SOUTHERLY TO SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS
WILL RESULT IN A SLIGHT RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG THE GULF COAST
BEACHES TODAY. A LIGHT TO MODERATE SOUTHEASTERLY TO SOUTHERLY WIND
WILL RESULT IN A SLIGHT RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG THE ATLANTIC
COAST BEACHES TODAY.
FLOODING: VERY HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTH FLORIDA
THROUGH MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. FLOODING COULD POSSIBLY ENTER
STRUCTURES OR VEHICLES.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY
THERE IS AT LEAST A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS EACH DAY. THE
